I had such a wonderful experience with Mr. Pleasant Family Dental. I woke up with a terrible toothache and could not get in to see my regular dentist, so I called Mt. Pleasant Family Dental to see if they could fit me in to get some pain relief for the weekend. Not only did they fit me in, but were able to treat me the same day and I am on the mend! They were kind, professional, and cared about my comfort and reducing pain level. My family and I will be returning for our regular dental care as well!

I was able to get in the same day with a very infected and broken tooth, I'm terrified of the pain from any dental work. but they got me in and worked with me it was very painful as the tooth was severely infected even with multiple numbing shots. but he took breaks and was very patient with me and allowed me to calm down when needed throughout the entire procedure. I'm very grateful for everything he did for me. I highly recommend him!

Jennifer, Jessica and Kara took great care of us and were very professional, warm, kind and considerate. Dr Afunrhe was the best! I had a root canal and didn't feel any pain AT ALL! And judging from how hubby was laughing and joking with the staff, he had a painless experience as well. Dr Afunrhe 7 Kara kept checking throughout both procedures I got, to make sure I was comfortable. And he went over and above to make sure the new crown would match my teeth. Shirley (I think) called a few days later just to make sure we were doing ok and not in pain. Judging by their camaraderie with each other and how they helped and supported each other, you could tell the staff really loved working there. That really left an impression, cos I've left practices of good doctors cos the front end staff sucked. Great atmosphere! And the place was spotless. 🤩🤩🤩 I HIGHLY recommend this practice!

They were able to see me the same week I called! It was a bit pricey, but well worth it! Everyone was kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. The dental hygienist told me how the prices work and I was honest about my finances and we worked out a mutually acceptable payment plan! None of this we need thousands of dollars upfront like other businesses. I will absolutely be going back.

The service I received exceeded my expectations! I got a deep cleaning and I’m terrified of anything dental but the hygienist was so nice and reassuring. She’s not heavy handed at all and my cleaning went smoothly. For context i have to get numbed even if it just for a cleaning, but I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. The rest of the staff was nice and Dr. Afunrhe explained my treatment plan so well and he has a great bedside manner. I will definitely come back for him to do my crown. You’re in good hands at this office!

After having four teeth extracted yesterday you'd think I'd be in pain, but there's absolutely none. I only had to take Tylenol the night of my dental work. Dr. O really knows his stuff. He and his staff treated me with the utmost kindness and professionalism. I'm a big ol' baby when it comes to dental work, and they did everything in their power to help me out. Had a lady hold my hands, offering whatever comfort they could even though I was obviously being ridiculous. I will always recommend this office, and if you have fear of dental work, just know this man and his staff will take care of you. Thank you so much!

This place is absolutely horrible. They pulled my moms top teeth and messed up and refused to stitch it up until the ER doctor Called them too. then the dentures they made for my mom were completely wrong and wouldn’t even fit and they refused to acknowledge it or do anything about it. It just seems like no one up there knows what they are doing.

I love Mt Pleasant Family Dental! The staff here are so lovely and Dr. O is amazing at what he does. My teeth were literally falling apart after giving birth to my 2nd child. I was depressed and became extremely introverted during this time. It took a lot out of me to even go to work because I hated my smile so much. I seen atleast 6 dentists that told me nothing could be done without paying 20,000 or above before I found this office. Dr. O quite literally gave me my life back. Atleast once a day now someone tells me how beautiful my smile is. You can't even tell that almost my whole mouth has crowns. It looks like I have a natural beautiful smile. So I highly recommend these people. They are so helpful 💜

I went in for a routine cleaning and he made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. He explained in detail each and every step of the cleaning process. He happily answered every question I had and gave me tips on when and how to properly floss as well as proper toothbrush techniques. The service was awesome and my overall experience was as great!

So i had never had a dental cleaning prior to my visit and for sure i was scared lol but they helped calm me and i settled in. And the lady that attended to me and cleaned my teeth was sweet she talked with me and took my mind of it. The Dr O came in to check on me to see if i was doing ok, and I thought that was thoughtful its very homely.

I had an awesome experience at Mount Pleasant Family Dental. I had not been to the dentist for close to 3 years and I was worried about how it will go. I actually drove from Dallas on a friend’s recommendation and wasn’t sure what to expect. Dr O. and his team were very nice and professional. Though deep cleaning is never fun, the procedure was smooth and I was able use my mouth and teeth within an hour. That’s a great dentist!

Walk ins get in and out before people who have appointments. Not to mention the wait. Easily an hour before you actually have any work done. Other than that, the dental hygienist and assistants are very nice and explain to you what and why and if anything else is needed, make sure you understand that why... Bitters with the sweets....
I gave it 3 stars rating because when the Dentist was filling my cavities by the way it was my first time getting cavities and getting them filled. The dentist didn’t explain to me what I should eat or drink while getting my teeth filled. They should have explained to me not eat hard stuff, not drink sugary drinks, and not drink through a straw to name a few Until it healed. I didn’t know none this I mentioned until I asked a friend and also I looked it up. The dentist could have gave me a handout that explained what I should eat or drink. Do’s and Don’t of what do with fillings in teeth.
This is the best experience. I'm always skeptical when looking for a dentist . But this was worth it for me. You'll never regret your experience. Thank me later. Their service is above expectations.

The staff at this office is the perfect blend of professionalism and compassion. I’ve had three visits to this office over the last month and from the call to make my first appointment to the last time I walked out the door on Thursday I have been treated with so much kindness. I can not say enough about how blessed I am that Jamie went above and beyond to help put together a plan to achieve the healthy smile that I want. She took the time to explain exactly what my insurance would pay for and explained how we could space out the work I needed to make it affordable for my budget and Nicole is just a patient jewel for helping me calm my nerves every time I go in there especially when I was so nervous about my extractions the other day. The knowledge she and Jamie have about billing and helping that office run smoothly is truly invaluable. Dr. O and Erica have talked me through every procedure that I’ve had and there was even someone else holding my hand. ( yes I am a big baby 👶 when it comes to going to the dentist). I can honestly say Dr O has always done his best to make sure I feel as little pain as possible and for that I am so greatful! He even apologizes when he thinks you feel pain.
